A requirement by a Businessman based in Hyderabad to design and build a family apartment in a 1.0 acre plot in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The proposed site has an interesting topography with existing views at different levels. This has been utilized to its fullest in the design scheme. The site is inherently divided in to three levels which accomodates the entry, parking and common amenities. The design scheme is a constructive attempt to bring together the cohesiveness of the landscapes both natural and manmade with the built form interspersing it. CROSSWINDS is a proposal where the materials, geometry and nature are integrated to create radiant architecture; as the name suggests it is an attempt to cross over the conventional residential apartment blocks for a more contemporary, urban and timeless architecture.
