The site is located in Budigere Industrial Area, close to Hoskote and Bangalore International Airport. The campus has various department building belonging to Saint Gobain including a shed about 40 years old, used as a testing lab which was to be shifted and remodeled to Grindwell Norton Ltd office. The design brief was to provide for products display area and a demonstration facility, development of facade, composition of openings and organizing the movement within, all these keeping most part of the building undisturbed. Interior design included provision for product display, office space and a Met lab. Since the display area had to be emphasized and its connectivity with the rest of the campus was crucial, a glass tunnel was introduced accented by a curved skin wall which develops into the façade. The decor is inspired by an ambience created at various times with change in light. White light is used for general lighting while blue light highlights the display area and products.
